The National Landscape Forum 2016 will convene in Cork on the 9/10th June as a collaboration between CPER of UCC and LAI. The event will revolve around a series of workshops on the morning of Thursday 9th June. The aim of the workshops will be to examine decision making re landscape at different levels or sectors, and to recommend how the decisions might be more effective in delivering on the aims of the National Landscape Strategy and the European Landscape Convention. The event will also involve study tours on foot around the city urban landscape including a flood-prone river Lee, as well as a study tour by bus, which will head off around the diverse peri-urban landscape of Cork Harbour.
