
CLIP – Coastal Landscape and Inclusive Planning is a PhD research project that investigates stakeholders’ perceptions and attitudes to the landscapes of the west coast of Ireland in order to identify contrasting understandings of these landscapes. The aim of the study is to enhance knowledge about the production and consumption of coastal landscapes, answering the question “how can community perceptions of coastal landscape and heritage become a transformative vehicle for landscape justice and conflict resolution for a sustainable future of coastal areas”?
