Arbeitskreis Landschaftsforschung

The Arbeitskreis Landschaftsforschung is our German-speaking network for academics and professionals working in the realm of landscapes. It’s a space to engage and form relationships through Landscape Research projects and discussions within your German-speaking region.

purpose

  • Strengthen cooperation among German-speaking landscape researchers, as well as with members of relevant international communities
  • Support exchanges about topics, theories and methods of landscape research
  • Organise events, which can result in joint publications
  • Facilitate the dissemination of information on events and other relevant developments such as conferences and upcoming legislation
  • Provide information on funding programmes and potential cooperation partners.

There is no formal membership for the network. To join in discussions and activities, register your email address and you'll receive notifications about upcoming opportunities to connect.

Events

At least one seminar is organised by Arbeitskreis Landschaftsforschung each year. To be notified of upcoming events, register here.

Their 11th workshop will be held at Detmold School of Design, East Westphalia-Lippe University of Technology on 10-11 October 2024 around the theme of Climate Change Strategies, Processes and Actors.
