LRG-hosted session at 2018 PECSRL conference ‘European Landscapes for Quality of Life’ in Clermont-Ferrand and Mende.
As much landscape is being privatised, bordered and enclosed, or set-aside for wilderness reserves with restricted access and dangerous fauna, the right to landscape is threatened. This leads to an unjust reduction in the quality of life.
Following a keynote given earlier in the day by LRG Director and Professor Emeritus Ken Olwig, LRG hosts a session in the afternoon of 6 September, featuring among others, presentations by LRG Strategic Fund recipients in 2017: María Vallejos who is Professor at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and Dr Kalliopi Pediaditi, Strategic Environmental Planner with the University of Toulon, France.
